What is an ICC Chapter?

Chapters are local communities that provide a safe place for equipping next-generation Christians to be ready to influence today's culture.

Chapters are groups of students ages 6 - 18 who are mentored and coached by a team  including a sponsor and parents, as well as student leaders. Students learn to speak with purpose, reaching out into the community with presentations.

Chapters develop mastery through competence, character, and connection. In ICC we focus on these five competencies: communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and cultural mindset, which provide real-world training.

Our chapter curriculum, the Navigator, trains in basic public-speaking skills through intentional activities and practice in small groups.

Older students are mentored through the Young Speakers Guild, three phases of increasingly challenging instruction which enables them to develop portfolio-building presentations.

Students are also given the opportunity to gain leadership skills by taking on different roles and responsibilities within their chapters.
