  • These courses are only available to those who have current membership in ICC chapters.

This asynchronous course is designed for those desiring to serve at  ICC's Training Center for the Summer Institute, iCON PREP or IGNITE PREP. PREP+ serves as a substitute for event attendance and purposefully equips a student for the experience of PREP while approximating some of the experience that would have been gained by participation in two prior events.  Students may use iPREP to replace attendance at one event in order to be eligible for PREP at Ignite or Summer Institute. There is NO connection between PREP+ and RSA eligibility.

Course Objectives:

  • Facilitating intentional thought for the PREP experience through interviews.

  • Encouraging an awareness of the greater ICC community.

  • Beginning the discussion of effective teamwork and conflict resolution.

  • Guiding personal growth, through setting SMART goals and motivating progress in YSG

  • Promoting thought into developing presentation skills.

Sample Assignments:

  • Document lessons learned through YSG Connection Calls

  • Seek wisdom from an Area Leader representative and previous PREP member

  • Seek wisdom from a previous PREP member

  • Seek wisdom from a previous intern

  • Evaluate peer presentations

  • Consider peer conflict and anticipate how to respond

  • Articulate the value of iPrep to a chapter audience
